Description
Looking into the sunrise, a golden wave is captured in the early morning. The surface of the water is like sheet glass indicating the winds are very light or “dead winds”. These type of wind conditions allow the water surface to reflect light and turn the waves into glass sculptures. When shooting sunrises, Clark will often go out in the pitch dark so he is ready for the “golden hour” as the sun first appears above the horizon.
